HOURS: The Maine Air Museum will open for the season on May 31, 2025. Museum hours are Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00, and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 4:00.

Museum Galleries: Plane Spotting
The Maine Air Museum, located at the Bangor International Airport, has one of the best views of aircraft landings and takeoffs in the state. In the summer of 2016, plane spotting at the Museum got even better! We added a viewing platform to the runway side of the building. The platform elevates line-of-sight above the chain-link fence, allowing for a totally unobstructed view of the aircraft in motion.
